Mumbai: Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar has witnessed a significant upswing at the box office on its third Saturday, giving new momentum to its already stellar run.

The film’s domestic collections on Day 16 surged thanks to almost double the footfall compared to Friday, pushing its India total past the ₹500 crore mark.

According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar had earned ₹483 crore net in its first 15 days. After a record-breaking second week, it began week three positively with ₹22.5 crore net on Friday. On Saturday, morning shows saw 32% occupancy, up from 16% on Friday, and this trend continued through the afternoon. By 10 PM, the film had earned ₹33.5 crore net on Saturday, taking its domestic collection to ₹516 crore.

With this performance, Dhurandhar is close to surpassing blockbusters like Gadar 2 (₹525 crore), Pathaan (₹543 crore), and Animal (₹553 crore). Trade analysts predict the film could enter the top three domestic Bollywood earners soon, joining films like Stree 2 (₹598 crore), Chhaava (₹601 crore), and Jawan (₹640 crore). Some industry experts are even betting on Dhurandhar to cross the ₹700 crore mark, potentially becoming the first Hindi film to do so.
